Decision: CLOSE

Reason: Breaking Node.js Version Requirement

This PR bumps jsdom from 29.1.1 to 30.0.1 (major version), which introduces a critical architectural constraint violation:

The Problem:

  • jsdom 30.0.0 requires: node: ^22.13.0 || >=24.0.0
  • Transitive deps (@asamuzakjp/*) also require: node: ^22.13.0 || >=24.0.0
  • Project's current contract: "engines": { "node": ">=20" } (package.json, per AGENTS.md)

Why This Blocks Merge:
Merging would silently break Node.js 20.x users. CI passes only because it runs on Node.js 22.16.0, which is above the new minimum. Users installing on Node.js 20 would face install/test time failures.

To Proceed:
Either:

  1. Stay on jsdom 29.x (compatible with current Node.js >=20 requirement), OR
  2. Approve raising minimum Node.js to ^22.13.0, then update:
    • package.json engines.node field
    • .nvmrc file for consistency
    • Then re-merge jsdom 30

This requires explicit architectural decision, not auto-merge.
